Basic Hard Sauce
Ingredients:
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
- 2 tablespoons brandy or rum
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
1. Cream the butter until soft. Gradually beat in the confectioner’s sugar, then the brandy or rum. Add the vanilla extract.
2. Chill.
Makes ¾ cup
