I made this rub up to go on my Cherry Wood Smoked Duckling and realized I had stumbled onto something special. This rub is great on duck, pork and chicken.
Ingredients:
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup salt
1/2 cup sweet smoked paprika
1/4 cup mustard powder
1/3 cup garlic powder
Directions:
Combine all ingredients into a large bowl
Mix thoroughly making sure to get ingredients from the bottom of the bowl.
Sift though a screen to break up brown sugar completely and remove any large particles.
Store in a sealed container - Stores indefinitely, disappears quickly. :)
